| You will be handing in task 2 (2D Walk cycle) on a PC compatible CD or DVD disk. Do not submit this task by USB Key, External Hard drive, via email or any other alternative methods as this will not be accepted as a formal submission. On the disk there should be; 1. Your flash file where you have edited the walk cycle. 2. A completed walk cycle that will be able to loop, the video must be 25 frames per second. The video will be in either AVI / MOV format. 3. Read Me (Note pad document) This will include all files on disks with correct lables and a link to your development thread for the walk cycle. Please can you hand in all your files correctly labelled by; Unit33.number of assignment.2009FullName.extention For example; Unit33.2. 2009FullName1.fla Unit33.2. 2009FullName2.avi On Wednesday afternoon the room will be open 15 minutes earlier so you can load walk cycles on to the front pc ready for assessment. Order of assessment is as follows; Michael Bishop
Steven Brown
Sean Burrows
Nathan Dring- Gibson
Andrew Foden
Ozan Keskin
Jack Lee
Lucy Mayers
Thomas Murray
Vito Papadopoulos
Ben Paterson
Colin Peters
Alex Pouncey
Sean Riley
Stephen Sammons
Laura Syme
Steven Trevitt
Paul WilsonYou will all have 5 minutes each to show the walk cycle and say about what you think was successful, not so successful, what you would improve, etc Good Luck and see you all at assessment | |

| Clare is it okay to use 24 frames per second? If I use 25 it looks very jittery as I only have 24 frames... If I add a random frame in somewhere then that too makes it look like it is stuttering. As you can see I have all 8 drawings and my keyframes are seperated equally at 3 each... but it doesn't reach 25 frames and I don't want to ruin the animation with 1 extra frame... | |

| i agree with sean, 25 frames makes my walk cycle look jittery when it loops, 24 frames is alot smoother and works alot better. and you missed luke off the list haha | |

| You can add a bit of detail about the walk cycle if you wish but your development thread should explain the background behind your character and walk style | |

| Yes your thread should show all the development from your first sketches of the baby to walk cycle poses and animation loops, along with your notes with them explaining what the character personality is and how they will walk. Put your link to your thread then on the readme doc | |
