These are my character ideas for the walk cycle.
Firstly I drew some ideas for a biker character. The left guy features a much more typical 'biker' that you would expect to see at a bar driving a harley or something. The right one was more of a take on someone who would participate in a professional sort of racing competition such as motorcross or something.
Then I randomly drew this alien guy. He would have had a more slouched and depressed walk that my other character. These feelings would have been caused by him not fitting in with the rest of humanity because of his alien nature. His torn clothes represent the way he has been treated.
Finally I had the idea for a futuristic soldier. This is the character I ended up choosing to do my walk cycle for...
Only after drawing this I wasn't sure about the futuristic side of the character. I redrew him as a Crusader from medieval times, a modern day soldier and then another take on the futuristic soldier. Now I think I am going to focus on the modern day soldier for a much more realistic walk cycle.
