Description
Layout: - A Small gloomy town in America where there is no sun, it only rains or has a grey cloudy sky. Very small town, with a small population, when it is night no one leaves their homes, as there is legend a creature... Unknown lurks around the town when it is night, fear grips people so deeply they don’t even contemplate leaving their homes, however one night someone had to work late, and is on their way home when they come across strange noises shadows, and their assumption is that it is the mysterious creature, they start to run and want to get home as fast as they can before they are caught, as they reach their door something grabs its legs and drags them away, as they are screaming for help.
The Creature: -Nobody knows what exactly the creature is, all that has ever been seen of it was its teeth, eyes and claws the creature walks around then town in the dead of night, looking for stray people to kill, it leaves its mark with 3 large claw marks in the door, this indicates that the person living there is who it wants, the creature has no name, but just the thought of it sends people into panic, in the past it has killed many people in the town. Many have gone looking for it. None have returned.
Catalyst: The Safe road is blocked by a large tree and the dark evil, dreaded road is the only other option, or he can spend the night in the office alone.
Debate: should the man spend the night in the office alone, or take the chance down the unsafe and mysterious road.
Break into Act 2
The man has decided to take the dark and mysterious path, he psyche’s himself up for the walk, And finds his courage, and slowly sets off through the dark and fearsome woods.
B-story: A bunny in the woods steps on a twig and snaps it, the man grows more fearsome, a gust of wind rustles the bushes in front of him, the man pulls his coat collar further above his neck, an old weak tree falls over very close to the man and makes a loud crash. The man is far too scared now and begins to run.
Fun and Games: The Man is to scared and has to run away to get home as fast as he can.
Break into Act 3 The man reaches the end of the woods and feels a spark of hope within him, due to the fact he made it, he enters the village and with all his might forces himself to “Make Haste!” And reach his door, the tension breaks the man’s pace slows, and he gasps in relief.
Finale : He takes out his key unlocks the door and places his hand on the handle. When suddenly in a flash he is grabbed by the creature and dragged away, never to be seen again.
