Version 1:
Cleaned up some people...

Version 2:
Added a more stylised look and started to work on some damage effects...

Version 3:
Added sand and rubble in the damage...

Version 4:
Added some sand in the background and changed the colour effects of the sand and sky to make it fit into the image more...

Version 5:
Changed all the colour effects and added a sandstorm. Also made the overall picture look better, I think it's finished...

That looks proper sweet, love the standstorm, maybe you add maybe the tiniest bit of noise and motion blur to the windy sand layer, and i mean the tiniet amount, if it looks gay then just ignore me

really like this matte pic . about time you did some work an also it remind me of pop

I think theres too much sand now, can't see the cool detail you put on the building.
Infact half the detail from your picture is gone.
It looked amazing before you should change it back.

it looks really good , but i agree with alex the sandstorm itself is to thick and overshadows the tajh mahal, so i think u need to either keep it at the same volume (amount of sandstorm) but make it thinner or abit more opaque

looks too orange for sand, looks more like fire, still looks awesome though

Okay so for my second matte painting it has changed a lot.. Anyway i'm here now with the idea of a nuclear explosion going off in the distance and the shockwave and dust heading towards the person watching...

I've lost the original picture but heres what I had... minus the sky XD

Then I added a different sky, explosion and some white light

I finally got around to adding dust and more lighting effects along with some background buildings

Finally I tried to make it look like the grass was moving a bit by adding a wind filter and added some cracks in the building as it was starting to feel the shockwave

that's a cool idea. maybe you could have the paint peeling off the buildings or the plants catching fire.

you should hv it were it starting to take effect on the area!! so there like dust an stuff happening in the pic
