So here are four different monster heads which all came from the same starting point which was the big eye and the teeth.

Not sure if I'll use these yet, dunno if they're as monstery as I would like, but I quite like some of them.

:p

So this is a work in progress. He's some guy who has been taken over by machines/electronics and goes around frying people. He has no soul anymore and no mercy. Cameras for eyes, lots of electricity and superhuman strength.

It isn't finished. I dunno if the body is too small compared to the head, but the body is on another layer and was only meant as a guide, and I've just thrown on a little more detail than I was planning to stick on but whatever.

For the background/setting I'll probably have him scare or kill some 50s high school kids like they do in the old horror movies.

This is how it's looking at the moment now that I've started colouring in some parts.

I'm not too happy with some of the shading and lighting, but I'll try and work on that.

I've made his body bigger compared to his head to make him look stronger, and a bit of a hunchback too.

I reckon it needs more wires and pipes and electricky bits.

The blue circle is probably gonna be an oscilloscope or something, I dunno if I'll keep that though.

This is with some guidelines showing to show where his other arm is and where his legs are gonna be.

I'm trying to get rid of some of the black outlines to make it look more photo realistic and messing around with the shading and lighting - it's probably gonna be set in somewhere dark, so I'm going for harsh highlights and deep contrasts. I dunno if it's better or not. He also has an iron plate down the middle of his head.

Its looking really good foden, just aint sure about the new arm you have put in.
Maybe throw some glowey effects on there or some other parts/trimming.

yeah, I'm not sure about it either, I was gonna avoid any light sources on the left side so that it wasn't too bright and glowy all over. I've just tried sticking stuff on his right arm and it just immediately looked out of balance. :/ I reckon the forearm looks a bit fat at the bottom though, so I'll sort that out and it might make it look right and in proportion.

that's looking great Foden Razz
Reminds me of iron man with the thing in the middle and I agree with Sean that the other arm looks a bit out of place? I dunno.. Can't put my finger on it haha

I've given him some jeans which I might lower the saturation a bit on. I've cut a bit off his elbow because it was out of proportion.

Maybe the thing with the right arm is the hand, which looks, wierd. I don't know. Hands are hard to draw. Razz

Edit:

Desaturised jeans

Yeh, im thinking a less colourful pair of jeans like a more toned down blue or a grey. Like u said just knock down the saturation and they should be fine.

Its lookin really good tbh.
