I'm doing a valley scene with buildings attached to the rocks.
Some of my research images are the following.

My first building render so far, i will have more buildings to show soon.

A render of my canyon.
I have to add more detail into the rocks and water still, and to add some detail to make the water look like it's lapping against the walls rather than cutting through.

The rock texture for my rocks was made on photoshop, by creating a rock texture using an actual rock surface creating an offset and then smudging the harsh line from the middle of the image so that the image will tile over the entire surface without leaving any lines on the rock surface.

Added some of the basic building shells, going to start adding tethers and windows.
Few things need fixing, namely the hole in the horizon, the hole in the sea floor and the texture needs to be changed to vertical on the bridge and the link between the left hand bubbles.
Not sure whether to remove the building in the foreground or not.

Added windows to my building and fixed up a few tweaks here and there.
Planning to add a bit of a lip around the window to clear it up a little.
