Matte Painting -Nathan-

I Chose Taipei 101 for my Building
Firstly i started off with this the Sky was to bright so i removed it and made it dark and stormy then i cut the area around the main building and preped it for a crater.

I then added my crater and made some dark mountains in the background for a nice effect.

Finally i darkened the Picture added a grainy effect to the crater and gave the background lightning aswell as a strike hitting the tower.

Looks good. Specially the lightning ^^

like the sand, also the lightning does add some nice effect. Not sure about the clouds

This is my second matte painting, it is of the Burj Dubai, the picture is suppose to show the building as a rocket and taking off into the sky with lots of Fire.
